How to submit a query

Members of the Oireachtas seeking information relating to Fiosrú can email queries to: Oireachtasquery@Fiosru.ie.

This inbox is for TDs, Senators, and their parliamentary staff only.

Queries from members of the public sent to this address will not be responded to. Members of the public should instead use our Make a Complaint section.

Our response times

Our target deadlines for responding to queries from Oireachtas members are:

  • Acknowledgement within 3 working days.
  • Substantive reply within 14 working days.

Some queries may take longer, and we will provide an update where this occurs

Feedback and reporting.

Fiosrú reviews this service periodically and reports annually in line with DPER Circular LG(P) 05/16 on provision of information to Members of the Oireachtas.
