Fiosrú staff support Recovery Month with Merchants Quay Ireland

Fiosrú staff were delighted to join Merchants Quay Ireland (MQI) today in support of the charity’s daily 5km runs during Recovery Month to raise awareness about the stigma associated with addiction and to celebrate recovery.

Police Ombudsman Emily Logan and Deputy Police Ombudsman Brian Doherty, along with Fiosrú staff, joined MQI’s CEO Eddie Mullins for a run in the Phoenix Park in Dublin.

The annual Recovery Month campaign aims to raise awareness and celebrate recovery, resilience and the possibilities ahead.

Throughout September, MQI celebrates the individuals who are on their own unique recovery journeys and raise awareness about how to challenge the stigma associated with addiction.

Fiosrú staff were delighted to join Eddie and help play our part in supporting individuals on their journey from crisis to recovery.
